We are saddened by the news of the passing of Virginia Menschner who worked for the Village of Suffern since 1958. 60 years, over a dozen mayors and signing more than 100,000 birth certificates at Good Sam Hospital...
She was a tireless public servant, a friendly fixture who graduated from Suffern High School in 1940. May 14, 2008 is “Virginia Menschner Day” as then-Mayor John Keegan unveiled a sign with her name in golden letters on the gazebo at Washington and Lafayette. Rest in Peace Virginia.
